Peak Construction Corp. is currently performing a complete interior and site renovation of an existing 49,445-square-foot manufacturing facility in Elk Grove Village for Parker Hannifin, a global leader in motion and control technologies including aerospace, climate control, electromechanical, filtration, fluid and gas handling, hydraulics, pneumatics, process control, and sealing and shielding. The property, sitting on 2.5 acres, is located at 850 Arthur Ave. in Elk Grove Village. Construction began Jan. 1 with completion expected in early July 2012.
The interior renovations include a complete demolition and reconstruction of the existing 14,675 square feet of office space, 5,027 square feet of new office mezzanine, six new drive-in doors, a new elevator, a new building street façade and sun shade system. The construction also includes major upgrades to the existing electrical, plumbing, HVAC and fire sprinkler systems. Exterior work will consist of a complete reconstruction of the existing pavement and associated sidewalk, regrading of the site and all new landscaping.
Heitman Architects is the architect on the project and Jacob & Hefner performed the civil engineering.
