The Port Authority of Kansas City has entered an agreement with Flaherty & Collins to create a mixed-use urban village on the Kansas City riverfront.

This development will be the first phase of the Berkley Riverfront Development that will bring 398 luxury apartment units, 400 parking stalls and 12,000 square feet of retail shopping to five acres of riverfront land. Some of the project’s features will include a resort-style pool with sundeck, sky bar with views of downtown Kansas City and the river, gaming lounge, fitness club, indoor/outdoor Yoga and Pilates studios, pet wash and bicycle bar.

The Cassidy Turley-brokered deal is the culmination of 30 years of investment and environmental abatement, in partnership with the City of Kansas City. The final 55-acre site is part of a large-scale master plan spearheaded by the Port Authority of Kansas City to create an urban village that will include offices, residential and retail space, and amenities.
