PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC has finalized a complete core and shell and interior build-out on a two-story, 30,000-square-foot commercial office building at the Silver Cross Medical Campus in New Lenox, Illinois. HSA|PrimeCare selected PREMIER to construct the new business center to increase necessary on-site space for Silver Cross Hospital staff and to provide designated areas for business offices, hospital support departments, EMS training and IT.
Constructed with load-bearing architectural grade precast panels, the new facility features a main entrance highlighted by custom color aluminum-clad window frames, low-E glass and decorative up-lighting. Each floor features 3 conference rooms, restrooms and a break room. The new building also houses the medical campus Encore resale shop.
The project is one of several completed by PREMIER on the Silver Cross medical campus. PREMIER recently completed the Silver Cross linear accelerator vault expansion to the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center, in September 2014. Other projects at the campus include Silver Cross Pavilion B, Comprehensive Cancer Center, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago outpatient clinic, and a two-story medical office building core and shell and interior build-out.
