HSA|PrimeCare has chosen PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC to construct a two-story, 30,000 square foot office building that will serve as a business center for Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, Illinois. Located in Will County with close proximity to I-355 and I-80, the on-campus business center will provide Silver Cross with additional space for support and business office staff.
“The PREMIER team has enjoyed the opportunity to work on the Silver Cross Business Center and all of the projects on the medical campus,” states President Alan Zocher.
The business center will be constructed with load-bearing architectural precast panels. The main entrance will be highlighted by custom-color aluminum clad window frames, low-E glass and up-lighting which complete the building facade. A fully adhered TPO roofing system will be installed throughout. The facility will feature the Encore resale shop selling antiques, books, jewelry, linens and seasonal and holiday decorations. Other areas of the building will be designated for EMS training, employee wellness, medical records, patient accounts, accounting and an IT department.
Fire protection will be carried out with the installation of a hydraulically calculated wet fire protection system in accordance with NFPA codes.
A bituminous asphalt parking lot will be placed and a new segment of the existing bike path will be added in front of the facility. The design includes a paved area for a monument sign and irrigated landscaping with a retaining wall. Anticipated completion for the business center is 4th quarter of 2014.
