RE/MAX recently named the affiliated sales teams and individual brokers in northern Illinois whose commercial property sales achievements in 2015 earned them special recognition.
Each year RE/MAX recognizes its top three commercial brokers and top three commercial teams, as well as the broker or team earning the year’s largest commercial commission. A team involves the combined efforts of two or more licensed brokers.
For the second year in a row, Dave Shalabi of RE/MAX Synergy in Orland Park, and Richard Dawidiuk of RE/MAX Central in Roselle, both captured No. 1 rankings.

Illinois Commercial Teams
- Dave Shalabi, RE/MAX Synergy in Orland Park;
- The Vallejo Team, RE/MAX Synergy in Orland Park;
- John Rosengren Team, RE/MAX Sauk Valley in Dixon and Sterling.
The leaders of all three of these commercial teams, as well as two other team leaders in the RE/MAX Northern Illinois network, were recognized by the worldwide RE/MAX organization for ranking among the Top 50 RE/MAX commercial team leaders in both the United States and worldwide.
In the worldwide ranking, which includes brokers in more than 90 nations, Shalabi was 28th, Vallejo was 33rd and Rosengren 36th, Georgia Colovos of RE/MAX Destiny in Elk Grove Village, was 41st and Mark Batinick, RE/MAX Professionals Select in Naperville, was 45th.
In the RE/MAX U.S. commercial Top 50, Shalabi ranked 18th, Vallejo was 22nd, Rosengren was 23rd, Colovos was 28th and Batinick was 32nd.

Another repeat winner emerged in the competition for the year’s largest commercial sales commission. The mother/daughter team of Georgia Colovos and Vickie Supos of RE/MAX Destiny in Elk Grove Village, captured that honor again when they listed and sold a commercial building in Chicago’s West Loop.
