Real Estate Equities opened its newest affordable community, Spring House Apartments, in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
The development is currently 27 percent occupied.
The 168-unit development, comprised of one-, two- and three-bedroom units, is located at 9401 Springbrook Drive NW in Coon Rapids. The project was designed by Kaas Wilson Architects and was built by Big-D Construction. It is 100 percent leased and is expected to be fully occupied by the end of May 2021.
Worrying about housing is a common concern among lower income earners. Families struggle to find affordable housing in locations that support their needs. The Spring House development will address those concerns for 168 households and will provide a community atmosphere in which they can thrive.
Construction on Spring House started in September 2019. The property features an attractive exterior design with modern amenities as well as high-quality interior finishes such as granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, in-unit washer and dryer, and vinyl-plank flooring. Other features include a two-story lobby and lounge, clubroom with kitchen, outdoor patio with a grill and firepit, fitness center, and two outdoor rooftop decks with grilling stations.
