RJM Construction, a St. Louis Park, Minn.-based general contractor, has begun construction on a 50,000-square-foot renovation for MOM Brands, the largest family owned cereal company in the United States.
RJM Construction will renovate portions of two buildings on the company’s Lakeville, Minn., campus. The project is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2013, at which time the company will relocate its corporate headquarters from downtown Minneapolis.
MOM Brands employs 200 people at its existing Lakeville facility that opened in 2009. Earlier this year, the company purchased a neighboring building that will be renovated and converted into a multi-use building including offices, meeting space and room for further expansion.
“We are delighted to be working with RJM Construction again on this important building project,” said Pauline Wiegrefe, corporate facilities manager of MOM Brands.
