Schafer Richardson recently closed the lease of a street-level retail bay to Bank of America in its M on Hennepin redevelopment project in Northeast Minneapolis.
Peter Dugan of CBRE and Ashley Bentler Shagets of JLL represented the tenant in the transaction. Erin Larson of Schafer Richardson represented the landlord.
Bank of America plans to open a virtual banking center in the M on Hennepin building at 114 E. Hennepin Ave.. The building was earlier redeveloped by Schafer Richardson and now features 67 luxury apartment units above 7,726 square feet of retail space.
There is one remaining retail space available of 2,051 square feet.
Bank of America is the third tenant to join the Northeast Minneapolis project. Nye’s Piano Bar and the Sonder Shaker joined the project in 2017-18.
