Chicago-based ShopperTrak is moving its corporate headquarters to Willis Tower with a newly signed lease for 52,450 square feet of space.

The move enhances an expanding tenant roster as Willis Tower continues to emerge as a hub for growing technology companies.

ShopperTrak anonymously counts people, analyzes data and identifies opportunities to increase revenue for retailers, mall developers and entertainment venues.  The company currently counts billions of shopper visits annually for the world’s leading retailers with more than 50,000 managed devices in 74 countries around the globe.  Customers use ShopperTrak insights to improve marketing, enhance operational efficiency and inform strategic decision-making.

Derek Rolison and Mike Kazmierczak of U.S. Equities Asset Management LLC represented Willis Tower during the transaction and Bill Sheehy and Dan McCarthy of Jones Lang LaSalle represented ShopperTrak.

Willis Tower has completed more than one million square feet of leasing activity in 2012, including the addition of United Airlines’ corporate headquarters, one of Chicago’s largest-ever commercial real estate deals.
