Silgan Containers has signed a lease to occupy 525,000 square feet at Zilber Property Group‘s recently completed speculative industrial facility in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Silgan will occupy the entire Zilber Industrial 1 building at Kenosha Corporate Park for its manufacturing and distribution operations.
Zilber broke ground on the project in the fall of 2018 and Silgan is scheduled to begin operations at the facility in June of 2019.
Scott Furmanksi, First Vice President at CBRE, represented Silgan Containers. Michael Kleber, Director of Industrial Leasing at Zilber Property Group, in partnership with Whit Heitman and Sam Badger, both Senior Vice Presidents at CBRE, represented Zilber Property Group in the transaction.
In addition to Zilber Industrial 1, remaining developable land at Kenosha Corporate Park, which totals about 20 acres, can accommodate industrial manufacturing and distribution users from 50,000 square feet up to 400,000 square feet.
