The Chicago Chapter of the Society of Industrial & Office Realtors (SIOR) recently presented the Richard G. Levy Presidents Award to Roy Splansky, SIOR and principal of Venture One Real Estate. The award was presented at SIOR’s annual holiday luncheon held at the Glen View Club in early December.

One recipient is chosen each year by the SIOR Chicago Chapter Executive Board as a member they feel exemplifies outstanding achievements both in and out of the commercial real estate industry. The award’s namesake, Richard G. Levy, SIOR, was a leader within the real estate community who typified the elements of professionalism, business acumen and strong personal and business ethics that represent the goals of each Chicago Chapter SIOR member.

Splansky is one of the most respected brokers in the industry and in the SIOR Chicago Chapter. A past president of the Chicago Chapter of SIOR, he has been awarded multiple SIOR Transaction Awards over the years and is known for his service to the Chapter and his community.

As founding Principal of Venture One Real Estate, Splansky oversees the acquisition, disposition, financing and asset management of the company’s investment portfolio, sources debt and equity for acquisition and development transactions as well as provides investment advisory services for select clients. His development and transactional experience is in excess of $5 billion since 1985.
