Skender advances five to senior positions

Chicago-based Skender announced the recent promotions of five employees to senior positions on its growing operations team. The individuals are Nestor Acance, Tom Boehm, Bob Kedzorski, Jeff Reist and Dave Ruzich.

“Each of these individuals embodies Skender’s core values of building proactive and positive partnerships with all clients,” said Mark Skender, CEO. “As we begin 2019 with bright prospects, Nestor, Tom, Bob, Jeff and Dave will certainly contribute to our continued success.”

Acance, Boehm and Ruzich have all been promoted to senior superintendent from superintendent. Acance recently completed a 20,000-square-foot renovation at the Latin School of Chicago and is currently working on the 85,000-square-foot training center addition and renovation for Chicagoland Laborers’ Union. Boehm successfully completed the 150,000-square-foot build-out for Cars.com prior to his current 37,500-square-foot interior buildout work at a real estate investment company. Ruzich completed the 45,000-square-foot Midtown Crossing Apartments in Des Plaines, Illinois, prior to his current work at Perspectives Charter School.

Kedzorski and Reist were both promoted to senior project manager from project manager. Kedzorski joined Skender in 2016 and most recently helped lead Skender’s successful completion of the 225,000-square-foot restack project for HERE Technologies’ new Americas headquarters in Chicago. Reist, who joined Skender in 2015, managed multiple West Coast projects for Fletcher Jones, in addition to the Science of Spirituality in Lisle, Illinois, and Perspectives Charter School on Chicago’s Southwest Side.
