Three years after opening its first location in the Columbus, Ohio, market, engineering firm SME has opened a new office location and appointed Colin Flaherty as regional office manager.
SME’s Columbus office has become a resource for environmental and geotechnical consulting services in Central Ohio. The team also supports SME’s offices in Cincinnati and Cleveland, as well as its locations in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and Albany, Indiana.
The new office is located at 4401 Lyman Drive in Hillard, Ohio.
Flaherty has played a key role in establishing SME’s Columbus office. He joined the office in early 2019 nad brings nearly 20 years of environmental and geosciences experience to his position. Flaherty’s experience includes Phase I/II environmental site assessments, brownfield redevelopments, Ohio Environmental Protection Agency Voluntary Action Program projects, USEPA Brownfield Assessment Grants, UST projects, hydrogeological site investigations and numerous forms of environmental monitoring and reporting.
