Karlos Ramirez, executive director of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan St. Louis, has been named the chairman of the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership’s board of directors.
The St. Louis Economic Development Partnership serves St. Louis city and county to create jobs and bring businesses to the region. The partnership also helps businesses of all sizes grow.
Ramirez moved to the St. Louis area in 2011 to lead the Hispanic chamber. Since his arrival, membership in that chamber has grown 81 percent.
