Stream Realty Partners hires managing director to help lead office tenant representation in Chicago

Phil Geiger

Stream Realty Partners has recruited a 17.5-year commercial real estate veteran with strong ties in the Chicago area to help lead its office tenant representation team.

Phil Geiger joined Stream, a national real estate services, development, and investment firm, as a managing director in the firm’s growing Chicago office. He will be responsible for tenant representation, transaction management, and new client and business pursuits. Geiger will partner with Senior Vice President Brian Duffy to accelerate the platform’s growth. Both will work alongside Executive Managing Director and Partner Patrick Russo, who was recently promoted to partner and continues cultivating the firm’s market coverage and talent in the tenant representation, property management, and brokerage service lines.

Geiger comes to Stream from JLL, where he advanced from working as an associate to a managing director after graduating from Colby College in 2004.

Throughout his career, Geiger has focused on large corporate occupiers, multi-market portfolio companies, tech/trading firms, and non-profit organizations, using technology to help those clients make data-driven real estate decisions that align with business goals and objectives. He has worked with clients including the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Chicago, WeWork, VillageMD, Alter Domus, Freeborn & Peters, and Green Thumb Industries. He is also a limited partner in Service Provider Capital and an angel investor in several Chicago technology companies.

Stream Chicago has grown to more than 40 professionals in the last three years, with offices in Fulton Market and Rosemont. The team is responsible for leasing and managing nearly 34 million square feet of office and industrial space across the metro area.
