Stream Realty Partners, a national real estate services, development, and investment company, announced that the Chicago office has been awarded the property management of a 4.7 million-square-foot portfolio, totaling 76 properties and over 260 tenants, by Taurus Investment Holdings, a global private equity firm. This recent assignment brings the total management portfolio for Chicago’s property management division to over 10 million square feet.

Taurus currently manages investments in nine countries and is quickly growing its industrial business with over 13 million square feet spanning across seven markets. Lathan Allen, Managing Director at Taurus and head of industrial investments, said, “With a portfolio of this size and magnitude, we wanted to work with someone who we could trust to provide superior execution. Stream’s property management team has built a proven reputation in the industry for its exceptional service and long-standing relationships. We are excited for the value they will bring to our Chicago portfolio.”

Stream has proven experience successfully transitioning large property management portfolios for local and institutional clients. Exhaustive documentation, cross-pollination of resources and tenant lease education are some of the many resources that Stream has memorialized into a property management transition program for its staff to efficiently manage the process, oftentimes under quick deadlines.

In June, the Chicago office celebrates five years of business with an astounding 30 million square feet of leasing and management under its belt. With a unique approach to commercial real estate, Stream has quickly grown and expanded its services in Chicago, welcoming a seasoned eight-person leasing team at the end of January and recently announcing several notable assignments, such as Hines’ T3 Goose Island and the activation of 620 N LaSalle with Rapid OfficesTM, Stream’s coworking platform.
