The Gettys Group, an international hospitality consultancy, has moved its corporate headquarters and has acquired an office at 55 W. Wacker Drive in Chicago.
Phil Palmer, a principal with Avison Young, represented Gettys in the transaction.
The Gettys Group purchased a 14,250-square-foot office in the 15-story, 209,000-square-foot building in the heart of Chicago’s central business district. The firm relocated and expanded in mid-February from 1 E. Erie St. in Chicago.
The move reinforces its commitment to Chicago and the desire of the firm’s principals to be centrally located in the United States to serve its growing client base nationally and around the world.
“As an internationally recognized hospitality designer, it is important for us to establish our presence in a space that typifies the type of work we do and also enhances our ability to do that work,” said Andrew Fay, president and COO of The Gettys Group. “Our new location accomplishes that for us.”
Further advancing its ability to collaborate worldwide are the technological features and advantages of 55 W. Wacker. The new space features video conferencing capabilities and improved technologies to make it easier for The Gettys Group and its worldwide clients to collaborate.
“Gettys selection of 55 W. Wacker is important because it establishes the firm’s presence in an ideal location. It also creates an opportunity to create value for stockholders and showcase their outstanding work,” Palmer said.
