A panel of business leaders recently gathered in Cleveland to share some good news with the 150 attendees of Colliers International’s second annual Accelerate Cleveland commercial real estate forum. According to the business pros, the Cleveland region is on the rise, with a growing number of people wanting to live, work and play in Northeast Ohio.

“Recent momentum should be sustained through continued collaboration and then by attracting more businesses to the region,” said T.J. Asher, panelist and chief executive officer of Weston Inc., during the event.

Other panelists included Todd Amsdell, president and chief executive officer of Amsdell Companies; Cheryl Baillis, vice president of First American Title Insurance Company; Brandon Huffman, director of Rubenstein Partners; and Jim Vance, vice president of BlueMark Capital.

Gary Cooper, senior vice president and principal of Colliers International|Cleveland, moderated the panel.

Frank Aucremanne, executive director of the Cleveland Clinic, was the keynote speaker.
