The Missner Group has hired industry veteran Bob Nomellini as chief operating officer of the firm.
Nomellini brings more than 40 years of experience in the construction industry to his new role. As chief operating officer of The Missner Group, he will oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm’s construction business, including all aspects of each construction project; from the strategic planning process to closeouts.
He will lead a group of highly-skilled project managers and construction professionals, continuing the tradition of high-quality construction services.
Throughout his career, Nomellini was a tradesman, general contractor and entrepreneur; gaining expertise in constructing new office, retail and industrial buildings along with interior build-outs. He began his career as a union carpenter in residential construction and later worked at large general contracting firms where he completed projects in the commercial, industrial, retail and medical fields throughout the Chicagoland area.
Nomellini also founded a general contracting firm, Insite Construction, in 2005 where he completed numerous projects in the commercial and industrial arena.
