MB Real Estate Services Inc. (MBRE) announced that the firm’s Michael Graham, senior vice president of asset management; Becky Gualandri, associate manager of human resources; and Larry Dunn, chief engineer were awarded the Patriot Award by the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR).
A representative for the ESGR, Robert Nachman a partner with Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP presented Graham, Gualandri and Dunn with the awards at this week’s executive board meeting. In addition, MBRE’s Chairman & CEO Peter Ricker signed a statement of support for the Guard and Reserve pledging continued dedication to the country’s Service men and women.
The Patriot Award reflects the efforts made to support Citizen Warriors through a wide-range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, and caring for families and granting leaves of absence. An employee serving in the National Guard or Reserve, or the spouse of a Guard or Reserve member, may nominate individual supervisors and bosses for support provided directly to the nominating Service member and his or her family.
MBRE’s Graham, Gualandri and Dunn were nominated by building engineer Jim LaGreca.
