With activity in the marketplace kicking up, industrial real estate professionals will gather at the 9th Annual CIP Industrial Summit at the Oak Brook Marriott on Friday, June 8. The event is hosted by Chicago Industrial Properties and Real Estate Publishing Group.
The event will kick-off with Keith Stauber, executive managing director, Jones Lang LaSalle, sitting down with Jeremy Giles, president, Central Region, Prologis. It was just one year ago that ProLogis and AMB merged to for Prologis. Stauber and Giles will talk about the overall industrial marketplace and Prologis’ plans after the merger.
Following the discussion between Stauber and Giles, some of the big names in the industry will talk about the state of the market. The panel will be moderated by John Coleman of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. Panelists will include Tim Hennelly, Ryan Companies US, Inc.; Paul Fisher, CenterPoint Properties; Dan Leahy, NAI Hiffman; David Harker, First Industrial; and David Bercu, Colliers International.

Two other panels will be featured at the 9th annual summit. The first will look at how things are changing on the development, architecture, construction and retrofitting front as the industry looks to “build the better big box. The final panel will examine more closely the investment trends taking place in the market.
