Trammell Crow Company, on behalf of Principal Real Estate Investors, has completed the development process necessary for CDW to move its corporate headquarters to 25 Tri-State Parkway and 75 Tri-State Parkway in Lincolnshire. Beginning in 2013, Trammell Crow Company, Principal Real Estate Investors, their brokerage team at Colliers International, and CDW’s brokerage team at CBRE, Inc., worked together to reshape the existing buildings and parking capacity to accommodate CDW’s requirement.
Among the improvements being made to the property, Trammell Crow Company will oversee the construction of a new 925-stall, four-level parking garage adjacent to the buildings. CDW, a leading provider of integrated information technology solutions, will occupy the two connecting four-story office buildings in late 2015. Construction activities associated with the improvements is scheduled to begin in May 2015.
“We’re grateful for the role Trammell Crow Company provided in this transaction,” said Dave Straka Investment Director with Principal Real Estate Investors. “On behalf of Principal, CDW and the entire team, TCC navigated a complicated entitlement process and served a key role in working with the Village of Lincolnshire, ensuring this new location would provide CDW with all the employee amenities it required.”
The new parking garage will sit on the east side of 25 Tri-State Parkway and 75 Tri-State Parkway and replace a surface parking lot.
“We are pleased to have been a part of the team that brought CDW to Lincolnshire,” said Grady Hamilton, Principal and leader of Trammell Crow Company’s Chicago Business Unit. “We are grateful for the efforts of the Village of Lincolnshire’s staff and elected officials, Lisa Konieczka, Bob Reaumond and Rob Weber, with CBRE, who represented CDW, our client, Principal Real Estate Investors, their brokers at Colliers International, and, of course, CDW’s team for believing in this outcome. We look forward to managing the improvements to the complex and preparing for CDW’s occupancy in late-2015.”
