Transwestern’s Colleen Dolan honored with leadership award

Colleen Dolan, executive vice president – human resources at Transwestern, was one of the women leaders honored at the inaugural Great Place to Work® For All™ Leadership Awards gala at the Four Seasons San Francisco. She is one of 77 award recipients chosen from companies on Fortune magazine’s annual list of the 100 Best Workplaces for Women, which Transwestern has been included on for the past three years.

“Colleen is an integral part of Transwestern’s culture and success, and I can’t think of any individual more deserving of such a prestigious recognition,” said Transwestern COO, Mark Doran, who presented the award. “Her insight and leadership over the past 18 years, along with her strategic approach to human resources goals and initiatives, have helped Transwestern to be repeatedly named a Best Workplace.”

Award recipients were chosen for being women leaders who consistently played a critical role in helping their companies deliver on strategic growth and business goals by creating a high-trust culture that is a great place to work for every team member. The awards gala was held March 7, on the eve of the 107th International Women’s Day. The dinner kicked off the 15th annual Great Place to Work For All Summit.

In announcing the honorees, Great Place to Work CEO, Michael C. Bush, said, “We are excited to celebrate the achievements of some of the top women leaders at America’s greatest companies. The companies on Fortune’s list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For and Best Workplaces for Women are leading the conversation in workplace equality and are demonstrating to corporate America on how to become more diverse, more innovative and great places to work for all.”
