Tucker Development, a leading fund manager and developer of shopping centers and mixed-use properties, has hired Aaron M. Tucker to serve as vice president and general counsel.
In his new role, Tucker is responsible for business development, including sourcing capital and structuring deals, as well as all legal matters involving Tucker Development and its affiliates.
Prior to joining Tucker Development, Tucker held positions with Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Paul Hastings LLP. At both firms, Tucker focused his practice on commercial real estate including development, finance and leasing matters relating to complex real estate transactions.
“As the trajectory of Tucker Development continues to move toward mixed-use projects with joint-venture partners and fairly complicated capital stacks, Aaron is an ideal fit for the company,” stated Richard Tucker, president and CEO of Tucker Development. “For the past several years, Aaron has been immersed in the buying, leasing and financing of complex real estate projects, allowing him to gain invaluable skills and credentials that will make him a vital member of our team.”
Added Aaron Tucker: “I’ve always been engrossed in architecture, urban planning, creating a sense of place and implementing tangible changes in neighborhoods and cities. All of that is what set me on the path to gain the experience necessary to join Tucker Development, a company that is made up of incredible people that are extremely talented and committed to what they do. It’s a team that I look forward to earning my place on, and a group of people that I have the ultimate amount of respect for.”
