Twelve projects and programs, 1 young visionary named winners of ULI Chicago’s 2016 Vision Awards

Twelve projects and programs, and one young visionary were named winners at ULI Chicago‘s 5th Annual Vision Awards held June 1 at Morgan Manufacturing in the Fulton Market neighborhood of Chicago.

More than 400 members, public officials, community leaders and guests came out to celebrate vision, creativity and innovation in the region’s land-use and development industry.

Guests enjoyed cocktails, small plates, and networking on the rooftop terrace of the renovated building, all while admiring breath-taking views of city’s skyline during sunset.

The following is the list of winners from the 5th Annual ULI Chicago Vision Awards:

  • Near North Quality-of-Life Plan & Design Guidelines

  • UI LABS/Digital Manufacturing & Design Innovation Institute

  • Historic Preservation:  Chicago Athletic Association, 12 S. Michigan Avenue
  • Public Investment:  Chicago Public Library, Chinatown Branch, 2100 S. Wentworth Avenue
  • Workforce Housing:  Lake Street Studios, 727 W. Lake Street
  • Community Impact:  Maggie Daley Park, 337 E. Randolph Street
  • Innovation in Education:  NEIU El Centro, 3390 N. Avondale
  • Mixed-Use Development:  New City, 1457 N. Halsted
