Ted Seldin, a name long associated with real estate development in Omaha, is now permanently affiliated with the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s College of Business Administration.

The college dedicated the Ted M. Seldin Commons in Mammel Hall, the college’s home. The area is located on the college’s main level and frequently used by students as a place to study and gather.

The honor is in recognition of Seldin’s support of the university’s Real Estate and Asset Management Program.

“Ted Seldin’s generosity is assisting us in elevating an already strong real estate program,” said Louis Pol, dean of the university’s College of Business Administration, in a written statement.

Seldin serves as chairman of Omaha’s Seldin Company, the firm his father founded in the 1920s.
