Venture One Real Estate, through its acquisition fund, VK Industrial IV, LP, a partnership between Venture One and Kovitz Investment Group, has closed on the acquisition of an 83,828-square-foot industrial building located at 2855 Shermer Road in Northbrook, Illinois. The single-tenant building was 100 percent leased at acquisition.
The building was constructed in 1970 and sits on five acres of land. It features nine exterior docks, two drive-in doors, 2,400 amps of power and parking for 106 cars. Steve Goode of Four Corners Realty, LLC represented the seller in the transaction.
