The 15,887-square-foot, value-add commercial condo at 400 S. Green Street in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood sold to an out-of-state buyer. Wayne Caplan of SVN Chicago Commercial represented the seller, while SVN Chicago Commercial advisors Chad Schroedl, Adam Thomas and Scott R. Maesel represented the buyer, Vista Property Holdings, LLC. The retail investment sold for $2,294,500.
“The acquisition of 400 S. Green shows the continued demand for the West Loop submarket even pushing to the southern and western edges of the neighborhood,” Thomas said.
The property, anchored by a 7-11 convenience store since 1990, had a single space vacant at the time of sale, which Schroedl and Thomas will bring to market for new ownership.
