West Monroe Partners, a business and technology consulting company, announced that it will relocate its corporate headquarters in Chicago’s Loop. The company signed a 12-year lease deal at 311 W. Monroe with Sterling Bay, a Chicago-based real estate developer. The building will now officially be called West Monroe Partners HQ.
The firm announced plans in August 2017 to double its workforce within five years. At that time, the firm had 850 employees, and today the firm has 1,450 employees—far surpassing its growth projections by nearly doubling in just two years. The company will move from across the street at its current location in The Franklin, 222 W. Adams Street.
Sterling Bay recently tapped Leopardo and Perkins+Will to complete a redevelopment and repositioning of 311 W. Monroe, a 382,490-square-foot, 15-story Class A office building. The redevelopment consisted primarily of robust tenant amenity upgrades, including a private bowling alley and gaming area, multiple event spaces, conference facilities, an 8,000-square-foot fitness center, programmed yoga/spin room, secure bike room and more.
