A 38,743 SF land parcel at 2125-43 W Madison Street in Chicago’s West Town sold in an off market deal. Located two blocks west of the United Center and two blocks east of Pete’s Fresh Market, this was one of the largest undeveloped sites not affiliated with the United Center. Scott R. Maesel of SVN | Chicago Commercial represented the buyer in the transaction. The land sold for $1,600,000 to a private investor whose future plans have not yet been determined.
“This land sale shows that the demand for land is back and based on the expansive growth in the West Loop, investors and developers are pushing west of Ashland now more than ever,” Maesel said.
