Wurkwel Ventures, a Chicago-based holding company that focuses on the needs of corporate tenants when expanding, relocating or downsizing their office, expanded its executive leadership team with the hiring of Jed Levenstein as the new vice president.
“This is a very exciting opportunity that will allow me to further utilize my operations management experience, business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit in taking this company to the next level by providing strategic guidance and formulating scalability measures,” Levenstein said. “I am very excited and honored to join the team at Wurkwel Ventures and look forward to scaling and improving the organization’s innovative systems, advancing our operational excellence and expanding the team. I joined this incredible team because of their unrelenting optimism to make a difference.”
Levenstein brings with him nearly fifteen years of experience building businesses by helping companies organize their internal structure and expanding their client relationships. He holds a B.A. in political science and government from the University of Arizona and grew up in the Chicagoland area. In his role prior to joining Wurkwel, Levenstein was the director of operations for BuiltWorlds, playing a large part in the creation, implementation and execution of the business model, guiding the professional network to reach new levels.
“We are thrilled and happy to welcome another experienced and industry veteran to our rapidly growing executive management team,” Mason Awtry, CEO of Wurkwel Ventures, said. “Jed has the relevant leadership experience as well as proven track record when it comes to transitioning many fast-growing companies to full-scale enterprises. This is exactly what we need as we are looking to take our business to the next level.”
