Vantage Point Properties’ first foray into the Kansas City market is now official. The Wichita, Kansas-based commercial real estate company closed on a deal to take ownership of a tract of land at 9300 Renner Blvd. near Interstate-435 and Renner Boulevard in Lenexa, Kansas.
The 32-acre plot will be the future home of Reflections at City Center, a 315,000-square-foot Class-A office complex with reflection pools and a walkable campus that will also include 19,500 square feet of restaurant space on three restaurant sites.
“Our vision is to create an environment that is both aesthetically and functionally different from any other office environment in the Kansas City area,” said Paul Jackson, president and founder of Vantage Point Properties. “We are most excited about the reflecting pools and walk paths that will make up the central feature of the development. Those will provide some real horsepower for companies looking to attract and retain talent.”
The company is ready to break ground as soon as an anchor tenant is identified. It has secured tax increment financing, approved by the Lenexa City Council, to aid in the site development costs. Vantage Point Properties’ leadership is exploring multiple channels to secure an anchor office tenant.
Colliers International, represented by Matt Stover and Tracy Wilson, is marketing the property for lease.
