465 North Park, the luxury high-rise that is going up in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood, has begun pre-leasing ahead of an August delivery. Developed by Jupiter Realty Company, on behalf of owners MetLife Investment Management and Allstate, the buildingis located at Illinois Street and Park Drive just steps from Lake Michigan and the Chicago River.

Designed by Pappageorge Haymes Partners, the elegant silhouette of this 48-story high-rise will offer 444 rental homes, over 10,000 square feet of retail space and 181 dedicated parking spaces. The tower, topped with a glowing crown, offers a noticeable contrast to the neighborhood’s typical rectangular buildings with a graceful combination of curved glass and aluminum.

“MetLife is excited to make this investment possible. We are thrilled to deliver this best-in-class-residential community, working with our partner Allstate and a talented development team, including Jupiter Realty Company, Pappageorge Haymes Partners and Power Construction,” said Matthew Sharples, managing director and head of the Chicago regional office for MetLife Real Estate.

With over an acre of space dedicated to amenities, 465 North Park has created a welcoming environment to call home. Amenities include a 12,000-square-foot fitness area, 38th floor skydeck, pool and common areas focusing on conference, business, gaming and gathering. The property is managed by Bozzuto.

“We are delighted with the execution from this world-class team and are pleased to add 465 North Park to our investment portfolio,” said Mike Moran, Allstate’s managing director of real estate equity. “This state-of-the-art high-rise will offer the luxury, comfort and convenience residents are seeking downtown, while also serving as an asset to our business.”
