Plans continue to be made for the 10th Annual CIP Industrial Real Estate and Transportation & Logistics Conference being held on Oct. 30, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Rosemont.
This year’s conference kicks off with a one-on-one conversation that “gets inside the mind” of Lynn Reich, SIOR, an executive vice president with Colliers International. Reich will be interviewed by Carter Andrus, an executive with Prologis.
“Lynn has been one of the most actively engaged industrial professionals, both in Chicago and nationally, and will provide some great insights into the market and the industry,” Mark Menzies, Group Publisher, Real Estate Publishing Group, said.
Following the 45-minute interview, the conference will feature four panel discussions that will provide valuable insights and perspectives into various aspects of the Chicago area industrial and trans/logistics markets. The first of the panels will be a high-profile panel looking into the state of the 1.4 billion-square-foot industrial market.
Just ahead of a panel that will take a closer look at the transportation & logistics industry there will be concurrent breakout sessions on design and construction trends and on investment in industrial properties.
The conference begins at 7 a.m. with registration and continental breakfast. The program formally begins at 8 a.m. with an introduction by Tom Boyle, the president of the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers and a principal with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.
