McCownGordon Construction will begin construction on the Kansas State University College of Engineering expansion in Manhatta, Kansas, today.
Construction will start with site utility relocation, earthwork and demolition.
The new building is scheduled to open in the fall of 2015. Designed by Perkins+Will and Momenta, the expansion will include classrooms, laboratories, an auditorium, gathering areas for faculty and staff and space for the college’s student design teams.
