Leopardo Companies recently completed a 97,000-square-foot, multi-phased renovation of the three-tower Continental Towers complex at 1701 Golf Road in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. The project is part of a greater capital improvement campaign that began in 2015.

Leopardo collaborated with Rubenstein, Glenstar, as well as Whitney Architects and Wolff Landscape Architecture (now Confluence) to deliver the project.

Totaling 57,000 square feet of renovations across several floors, as well as an additional 40,000 square feet of exterior renovation, the improvements aimed to deliver the best amenities to tenants at the 34-acre suburban office campus. Work entailed the renovation of the cafe and amenity center, installation of high-end finishes, as well as new lobbies and elevator cabs.

Leopardo also demolished and rebuilt the complex’s plaza deck, complete with landscape pavers on pedestals, a new waterproof system, new firepits, pergolas and an outdoor kitchen to accommodate entertaining and wellness.

“It has been our great pleasure working with such a tremendous team of experts at Rubenstein and Glenstar to deliver this outstanding project,” said Leopardo project executive, Erik Magsamen. “I’m exceedingly proud of all we have accomplished.”

The towers remained open and occupied throughout construction, requiring extensive coordination with the food service area to keep it operational all day, with designated times for daily setup, tear down and area cleaning.
