Brunton, an architectural design firm founded by Corey Brunton in 2007, recently celebrated the grand opening of its new Twin Cities office with city officials, leaders and ambassadors from the Minneapolis Regional Chamber as well as clients, vendors, partners and friends.
After a yearlong search, Brunton purchased the 8,000-square-foot building at I-394 and Louisiana Avenue in St. Louis Park and spent 9 months making it their own. The building, originally constructed in 2007, was formerly a DaVita Dialysis, and prior to that was the site of the late-great Embers Restaurant made famous by the movie Fargo.
Brunton had several goals in mind when considering a new office. The company needed more space as it was amid tremendous growth and wanted an environment that reflected both the warmth of its culture and the quality of its design product.
The office is a bright and welcoming space with team collaboration areas and the latest technology integrated throughout. Employee amenities include a large kitchen and breakroom with an espresso machine, ping-pong table, dart board and an outdoor patio and grill.
While Brunton was founded in 2007, it is still a relatively new name to the Twin Cities market. With its home office in Mankato, Brunton opened a small Twin Cities location in 2015. The company has two physical locations but operates as one cohesive team. Recently, Brunton was recognized by the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal as the 15th largest architectural firm in the Twin Cities. The growth the company has experienced in recent years is due to its success nationwide in municipal/public safety, healthcare, and tribal design.
