Chris Zannis, senior associate of Arthur J. Rogers & Co., recently completed two new leases and two lease renewals within Rogers Business Parke-Elgin.
In the first transaction, Lawter Inc. signed a new lease for 5,925 square feet of office/lab space at 2531 Technology Drive in Elgin. The chemical manufacturing firm is relocating to Rogers Business Parke-Elgin based on the property’s amenities, proximity to the firm’s workforce, access to major roads and the area’s local business amenities. Zannis represented ownership and Irv Gilner of Transwestern represented Lawter, Inc..
Zannis also completed a new office lease totaling 2,900 square foot at 2531 Technology Drive to Logfret Inc. The firm, an international freight forwarder, cited the location of the property as well as the openness of the space to accommodate additional staff as the reasons for its selection. Zannis represented ownership in the transaction and the tenant was self-represented.
Finally, Zannis completed an additional two lease renewals within the Parke. The first, for 4,200 square feet, was completed on behalf of SoftWeb Solutions. The computer software sales firm is renewing its space within 2531 Technology Drive based on the property’s location and solid management. Zannis also completed a lease renewal for Anenova, a maker of antennas for the cell phone industry, at 2541 Technology Drive. The tenant renewed its lease for 3,900 square feet based on the property’s location. Zannis represented ownership in both transactions. SoftWeb and Anenova Limited were self-represented in lease negotiations.
Situated within Northwest Corporate Park at Technology and Vantage drives, Rogers Business Parke-Elgin is a development consisting of four buildings totaling 232,000 square feet. The facilities offer both 100 percent office suites and mixed-use office/warehouse space, with units ranging from 2,000 to 58,000 square feet.
