Brown Commercial Group negotiated four industrial transactions totaling more than 22,000 square feet in Chicago’s O’Hare submarket. The deals included one sale and three new leases in Franklin Park, Illinois.
Idea Property Investments, LLC., a private investor looking to expand its O’Hare portfolio, acquired the 11,109-square-foot industrial building at 9231-9233 Cherry Avenue. Brown Commercial Group partner Trinity Scurto represented Galaxy Underground, Inc., a sewer and water contractor that is moving into a larger facility in Schaumburg, Illinois, in selling the building. Brown Commercial Group broker Pat Crowley represented the buyer.
“The O’Hare industrial submarket continues to be a top-performing market for tenants and investors alike,” said Scurto. “We are seeing many tenants in growth mode and this translates well to investors looking for long-term growth potential.”
Crowley also represented Metro Resource Investment & Management Inc., the building owner of 10915 Franklin Avenue in Franklin Park, in the lease of three 3,840-square-foot units at the building. Packaging company TDC Supply leased Unit D as additional storage for its packing supply business. Scurto represented the tenant, who was looking for a hard-to-find smaller unit in the O’Hare submarket. Crowley also represented tenant Tire & Wheel Connection in leasing Unit E and E-Tech Trading in leasing Unit H. Both tenants were expanding.
