Brown Commercial Group, based in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, recently represented Component Products, Inc., in its purchase of a 21,760-square-foot industrial building at 764 N. Oaklawn Avenue in Elmhurst, Illinois. The manufacturer of structures for lighting and traffic signals is consolidating from two previous locations in Schaumburg, Illinois.
The building features two interior docks, two drive-in doors, air conditioning, outdoor storage and ample car parking. It offers easy access to I-294 and I-290. Brown Commercial vice president of sales Mike Antonelli represented the buyer and Cushman & Wakefield’s Mike Magliano represented the seller, GSI Partners, LLC.
“In today’s strong industrial market, many business owners are looking to purchase a building in order to gain long-term investment advantages,” Antonelli said. “Component Products also will benefit from lower taxes in their relocation from Cook County to DuPage County.”
