Colliers Executive Vice President Dougal Jeppe represented Gordon Rees Scully Masukhani (GRSM) in its 29,839-square-foot lease at One North Wacker. The law firm, which currently has 24,182 square feet at One North Franklin, will move in August 2024.
Said Jeppe, “One North Wacker offers users an ideal location with terrific existing conditions and desirable, modern amenities. Firm leadership is confident the new space will draw attorneys and staff back into the office.”
Completed in 2002, One North Wacker is a 51-story, 1.4 million-square-foot Class A office tower located in the West Loop submarket. It is conveniently located at the corner of Madison and Wacker Dr., near Ogilvie Transportation Center and Union Station, and features a stainless steel and glass exterior with large, efficient and virtually column free floor plates. Parking is provided in a two-level, 230-space garage.
In December, ownership will launch a refresh of the building’s amenities floor. When complete in summer 2024, tenants will be able to enjoy an expanded lounge with private work/phone rooms, new meeting and event spaces, a state-of-the-art private fitness center, and a brand new craft coffee bar. Other on-site will perks remain such as onsite dining destinations One North Kitchen & Bar and KINSLEY by Fairgrounds, as well as day-to-day conveniences such as a sundry shop, shoe shine and repair shop, and messenger services, all offered in the lobby.
“Having grown from 10 to over 100 attorneys in the past decade, our Chicago office is excited to upgrade to this new, modern space that aligns with our vision for continued growth and providing exceptional legal solutions,” said Stephanie Jones and Brian Roth, co-managing partners of GRSM’s Chicago office.
The owner, Irvine Company, was represented in-house by Maggie Brophy.
