Colliers International has closed on a 310,000-square-foot $60 million build-to-suit industrial development at NorthPark in St. Louis for SKF USA, Inc.
Colliers, in conjunction with NAI Geis Realty Group, provided site selection, lease negotiation and transaction management services for SKF’s new lubrications systems engineering and manufacturing facility expected to break ground by year-end and targeted for Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) certification.
Colliers’ St. Louis brokerage team included Steve Tharpe and Spencer Toder with Jim Eaton, senior vice president at NAI Geis. JLL represented the seller, NorthPark Partners.
SKF plans to move its St. Louis operations from its current location on Goodfellow Boulevard to NorthPark by the end of 2015. With the larger facility, SKF is expanding its St. Louis operations and will retain 388 jobs and is expected to create 73 jobs during the next six years.
