Copaken Brooks celebrated the official groundbreaking for The Village at AdventHealth Mixed-Use Building last Thursday, marking the next major milestone in the continued growth of Lenexa City Center. Expected completion is the fourth quarter of 2026.

Located at the northeast corner of 87th Street Parkway and Scarborough Street, the 24,000-square-foot mixed-use building will bring two new restaurant concepts, Urban Egg and Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill, to the heart of Lenexa City Center. Adjacent to the north, Five Four (formerly 54th Street) is constructing a 10,000 square foot standalone restaurant with outdoor games area. These additions will further grow the area’s dynamic mix of dining, healthcare, retail, and entertainment, creating a vibrant community destination for residents, professionals, and visitors alike.

In addition to its premier dining offerings, the project will feature approximately 10,700 square feet of Class A office space on the second floor of the mixed-use building, available for lease. The flexible layout can accommodate both small and large users looking for a highly connected environment that combines modern workplace design with walkable amenities. Tenants will benefit from structured parking and close proximity to AdventHealth Lenexa City Center, the Lenexa Civic Center, Public Market, Public Library, and a robust mix of restaurants, shops, and fitness options.

As the developer of the project, Copaken Brooks continues to advance its long-term vision for Lenexa City Center as a thriving, mixed-use destination that integrates healthcare, retail, office, entertainment, and residential spaces into one cohesive community.
