Cotter Consulting, Inc. announced the addition of John Plezbert as Group Manager to their team.
John has over 40 years of public and private experience in the Chicago metropolitan area. He began his career with the Chicago Park District and over the subsequent decades led large infrastructure and capital programs for other City of Chicago departments, including the Department of Aviation and the Chicago Department of General Services (Department of Fleet and Facility Management).
During the last 20 years he has managed major capital improvement plans and infrastructure projects totaling $6 billion. In 2006, he was appointed by Mayor Richard M. Daley as the First Deputy Executive Director of the Public Building Commission of Chicago, where he led the restructuring of the agency. John joins Cotter from the URS Corporation, where he served as Director of Business Development for the firm’s governmental and industrial clients.
