Employees with Cushman & Wakefield’s Indianapolis office process more than 36,000 pounds of food at local food bank

More than 50 employees from Cushman & Wakefield’s Indianapolis office volunteered for a day of serve at Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana on Nov. 11.

Cushman & Wakefield donated $5,000 to Gleaners’ BackSacks program, which will provide 25 school children with a weekend BackSack for an entire school year. The BackSacks are filled with healthy food. Children receive the sacks each Friday. The program is designed to reduce self-reported hunger, improve students’ concentration in school, reduce absenteeism and improve academic performance.

Two shifts of Cushman & Wakefield employees voluntered to work at the food bank. They processed more than 36,000 pounds of food and other products.
