Blackstone’s Equity Office, has appointed Eli Khouri as president and chief executive officer. Effective late September, he will succeed Tom August who will be retiring from Equity Office’s CEO but will continue to serve on the firm’s board.
Khouri holds more than 30 years of real estate investment and operations experience.
Previously, Khouri was at Kilroy Realty Corporation, where he served as executive vice president and chief investment officer. Prior to that, he served as co-founder and managing director at Broadreach Capital Partners and chief investment officer at Spieker Properties.
Khouri earned his bachelors in Civil Engineering from Stanford University. He is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, the Urban Land Institute, the Fisher Center for Real Estate & Urban Economics Policy Advisory Board, Stanford Professionals in Real Estate and the Stanford Real Estate Council.
