Southfield, Mich.-based Farbman Group has completed the renovation of its Oakland Commons office property in Southfield, Michigan.
Located at 20700 and 20750 Civic Center Drive in Southfield, renovations of the two full-service class-A office buildings include the addition of a new fitness center and conference center. The 24-hour fitness center includes modern gym amenities such as elliptical machines, treadmills, weight machines and shower facilities, and offers routine fitness classes for the tenants.
The office property’s conference center includes mobile video screens, teleconferencing capabilities, a full kitchen for catered events and modern office furniture.
“We believe the trend is clear. More and more businesses are continuing to look for workspaces that offer communal and experiential gathering areas and convenient amenities to their employees,” said Andrew Farbman, chief executive officer of Farbman Group, in a statement. “The fitness center and conference center will add a new layer of energy and accessibility for our tenants and future tenants.”
Oakland Commons is located on Civic Center Drive at Northwestern Highway in Southfield with access to both M-10 and I-696. The property features two-story lobbies with marble flooring and floor-to-ceiling windows. Other building amenities include after-hours security with lobby attendant, restaurant/sundry shop, 24/7 card entry system and onsite management.
