Grading contractor expands lease in Missouri with help of Zimmer

Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. the Columbia, Mo.-based grading contractor, has extended and expanded its lease at 140 Walnut Street in Kansas City, Mo.

With more than 450 employees serving the Midwestern region, Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. offers a range of services including residential and commercial site construction, sewer and water line construction, paving, excavating and road construction.

The expansion brings Emery Sapp & Sons’ square footage to about 8,159 square feet of area, and serves as a full-service office for the company. Emery Sapp & Sons’ marketing, sales, pricing and project management departments will be located inside the building.

The building, located in Kansas City’s River Market area, is owned by Second and Main LLC, and was represented in lease negotiations by Chris Sally.  David Zimmer, along with Mike VanBuskirk and Jennifer Gach of Zimmer Real Estate Services, represented Emery Sapp & Sons in lease negotiations.
