The Great Lakes Region of Ryan Companies announced the promotions of three long-time employees, Jason Cmelo to assistant field coordinator, Larry Listermann to senior superintendent, and Robert “Bob” Wehner to director of preconstruction.
Cmelo, a 24-year industry veteran based in Ryan Companies’ Naperville office, has been promoted to assistant field coordinator from senior superintendent.
In this new role, he oversees field activities across the firm’s Great Lakes Region including the management of superintendents and their responsibilities for scheduling, monitoring, mobilizing, and managing the field team. He also directs the construction process. As a Senior Superintendent, Cmelo oversaw the construction process, paying particular attention to budget, schedule and safety issues. He was responsible for monitoring, mobilizing and managing the Ryan field team while coordinating subcontractor activities.
Listermann, a veteran of 25 years in the construction industry who has been with Ryan Companies since 2004, has been promoted to senior superintendent from superintendent.
He now oversees the construction process, paying particular attention to budget, schedule and safety issues. He is responsible for monitoring, mobilizing and managing the Ryan field team while coordinating subcontractor activities.
Since joining Ryan Companies, Listermann has been involved in a wide variety of projects and product types, most recently focusing on assignments in healthcare and related fields, including medical office projects for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, and seniors housing communities under the Thomas Place and Clarendale brands.
