HSA Commercial Real Estate has closed a long-term lease renewal with Banning Engineering at 853 Columbia Road in the Gateway Industrial Business Park in Plainfield, Indiana.
Banning, a civil engineering and surveying firm that occupies 16,000 square feet in the first distribution facility to be constructed at the 13-acre business park in suburban Indianapolis, was an original tenant of the project in 2004.
The Gateway Industrial Business Park, which is owned and managed by HSA Commercial, has since expanded to include a 121,000-square-foot multi-tenant second phase that was built in 2006, a 34,880-square-foot facility occupied by the Federal Aviation Administration and a 220,000-square-foot speculative warehouse that HSA built in partnership with Great Point Investors LLC in 2014.
The most recent development at Gateway Industrial Business Park, Gateway Industrial III, features 32-foot clear heights, 35 truck docks, four drive-in doors, 256 parking spaces and quick access to Interstate-70 with convenient connectivity to the rest of the regional interstate system. Built in 2014, the 220,000-square-foot building already has new leases with two logistics companies, Black Horse Carriers and Kuehne + Nagel, which occupy a combined 54 percent of the distribution facility.
